Wow, I haven’t thought about this song since it was released during my first year of college. I was part of a Rocky Horror performing group at the time and we sang it all the time. Probably half of us in the group were queer–however you want to define that–so I guess we thought it was our anthem.

From what I recall, that video was roundly mocked and didn’t cut it back when it first came out, never mind today.

Yeah, I give 20 minutes of time to the Grateful Dead. I’ve heard Guthrie do AR a good dozen times or so…it’s enough. lol Totally unfamiliar with any of his other stuff.
