I’ve seen a few in a “hip” shop in Gongguan. About NT$2000 or so. They’re utterly shite. The cheapest of cheapo helmets with about 1 millimetre of padding. They look cool but you can wear it for about 2 minutes before it starts to hurt. And this advice comes from someone who REALLY REALLY wanted to like them.

A pity you can’t even find that kind of glitter in a rattle-can to do it yourself.
Also goes well with the actual bike sometimes.
Buy a good helmet, go to a stationary store, buy glue and glitter.

I don’t care so much about the quality as long as it just oozes coolness.

Sandy, I went to the area you told me about today, and found a tea/coffee shop, that was kind of motorcycle themed.
At the back of the shop were a few glitter helmets on display.

They were only selling the silver glitter helmet, it was 3980nt.

No, the place I saw some was on the right-hand-side of the lane as you face Dingzhou Rd, closer to Dingzhou than to Roosevelt. They sell “cool kid” jeans, tshirts, funky jewellery, all like that. Has a kind of small wooden deck out front, I seem to recall.

I found a helmet shop on the corner of Roosevelt/XingLong that has several glitter helmets for sale, at the outrageous price of 6000nt each.
Right. I pass there every day. Boss rides a nice Bonneville. NT$6k’s a lot, but it really depends on the brand.
