Hey everyone,
For those who’ve studied Mandarin in Taiwan before — how did you plan your travel dates if your course ran a bit longer than 90 days?
Did you just apply for a 90-day visitor visa and extend it later, or did you list the full course period on your visa form?
Would love to hear what worked best for you.
Thanks!
You can convert the studying Chinese visitor visa to an ARC after 4 months
So 1.
apply for studying Chinese visa at TECO/TECRO/embassy - move to Taiwan
2.Before your visa expires, extend it.
3.After studying for 4 months apply for an ARC.
Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China(Taiwan)-Resident Visas for Studying Mandarin Chinese - might not be necessary, you should be able to skip this and head straight to NIA for an ARC
