Pastels? Maybe a collaboration with local cartoonists? Local attractions? Taiwanese are patriotic in the sense that there are few depictions of local sites, plus can attract tourist buyers.
So, I just found out today that the Vogmasks which I ordered Tuesday night won’t arrive before Friday at the earliest and most likely Saturday or the following Monday.
Why? Because although all the employees of the Vogmask in Taiwan are apparently working through the Chinese New Year, they have no way to get the product to the customers.
7-11 is open during the CNY, but the drivers for the 7-11 delivery service aren’t working until Thursday. And of course the post office is off until Thursday. So, the earliest the Vogmasks can be sent out is Thursday and delivery is within 2 days time. Yeah,Thursday is when I needed it for my hospital visit on Thursday and Friday.
So, I’m guessing that the hospitals won’t allow me through the doors without some type of surgical mask, although completely worthless, so I’m going to use the one pictured below.
What do ya’ll think? If you read the package, they say that they are masks that will protect from viruses, but also they are “Made in Taiwan”, so you can take that with a grain of salt.
I’ll let you know how things go.
Strange, I ordered one 3 days ago and picked it up yesterday. Family Mart though.

I also have a medical appointment Thursday and will take one of my precious N95s. Would be nice to have something more comfortable.
All the surgical masks I have are Made in Taiwan. Seem OK to me. I got like a 3 month supply.
@MalcolmReynolds the mask says it has US testing approval, if that helps.
Oh yes, I can read what it says. But, it’s made in Taiwan…there’s no such thing as truth in advertising for any products made in Taiwan. So, I wonder if it has been tested or if it’s just printed on the package.
I have absolutely no idea about the inner workings of the convenience store logistics. We obviously have to go with whatever they tell us.
I imagine local shipments are still running through the holiday period. Anyone’s guess.

Vogmask is from the USA. They are manufactured in South Korea. They are imported from one of these 2 places.
Hello Gustavo! I received my mask a few days ago and it seems that L size is a bit too big (surprisingly, since I was originally aiming for XL) because sometimes it isnt sealed properly (for exemple most of the time when i exhale, air comes out of the side of the mask). So I’ll get a M+ when stocks are back, but I wonder maybe you guys should try to improve that size guide. Maybe adding some width into account? I don’t know. (I have a long face, not wide, maybe that’s why the mask doesn’t fit some part?)
Anyways, other than that, awesome product, it’s super nice on the skin so it’s never itchy or whatever, compared to other masks!

We have reviewed the size guide countless times, yet there are so many types of faces in this world. Any simple guide is necessarily very limited. Currently, the only thing that surely works is testing the actual mask samples at any of our retailers before buying.
I suggested building an AI based system that can recommend the correct size to our new customers from a picture of their face, but… well, I suggest a lot of things.
haha yeah it’s okay, it was chinese new year so I didnt go to the store as I expected it would be closed, otherwise I would have tried before for sure.
So if some folks interested in buying the product (or any other similar brand for what it’s worth) are reading this, definitely try it first if you can.

Thanks! Hope you will like your new mask. The ear loops can be a little too tight out of the box. Give them some gentle stretch and a few days to settle in if you feel any discomfort around the ears. Happens sometimes with new masks the first few days.

Noir S is available in N99 model.
Noir L, XL is available in VM model.
Viper, Hero L are some other options for dark coloured masks.

Seriously though, Vogmask pattern designers must be really sad. All that hard work, and Noir outsells all other designs. Combined.
