If I were the one who paid money for that advertisement, I’d want my money back. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Interestingly, there was a nearby ad for the Korean pears that was correctly written. I wonder if it’s just this bus that got it wrong, or multiple buses. (I’m assuming just the bus ads have typos)

No words. Wouldn’t be surprised if they charged the customer for all of it.

Likely a “concerned citizen” who is a landlord who doesn’t report their rental income

Defense Minister Wellington Koo (顧立雄) on Thursday defended his ministry’s decision to award a contract to import military-grade explosives to a company better known for selling furniture, after a lawmaker questioned the public procurement process.

IKEA explosive ?lol

Maybe they were the lowest bid.

The wardrobe specialist.

The only bidder according to the article :man_shrugging:
Which is also quite wack that there seem to be no companies specializing in those kind of governmental military bids.

And

Although registered as a furniture trading company, it also engages in international trade and the wholesale of chemical materials, the MND said on Wednesday.

Usually when there’s only one a bidder the tender will have to be cancelled and a new one setup .

We have all heard about vote buying…but I heard a new one this week. Was at my mother-in-laws house getting all the juicy documents about the neighbors.

The local funeral tower has a administration committee. People like to be on the committee as actually alot of money floating around the funeral tower for various events. A grandmother living at end of the block has been the committee head for quite awhile. But for last election seems had more competition for her seat so she pushed my mother-in-law (MIL) to go vote. As usual my MIL just does what is told to prevent any bad feelings even though she does not like the family (for reasons shared below). So MIL’s service provider (i.e. maid) used their small electric cart to take MIL to tower to vote. While there the grandmother gave MIL a blouse to thank her for voting…and gave the maid $300.

As for the grandmother and that family here is the gossip summary to date. Grandmother helped her daughter get one of the government posts for county representative. Then her son gave his sister a benz so she could drive to meetings in style. At night the grandson was driving the benz to his “job” at a pub. He would leave about 12:30 at night and come home about 5:00. They parked the benz in front of MIL’s house…on MIL’s property. Whenever anyone visited MIL someone would have to ask the son or his wife to move the car. That made that family unhappy but over time they complied and eventually quit parking there. The son would wipe off the benz when he got home and once I saw the son throw the rag he used into the land across the street from him. The son is now in jail as police raided the house and found a gun and drugs.

The “Cake Vendor” was spitting everywhere while cutting cakes without wearing a mask! He was making 400,000 yuan a month selling cakes without a license.

You need a license?

Somebody was jealous , see worse every day of the week here.

Just passed by a noodle restaurant next to Minquan W. Rd. station. They sell "TAIWAN MEN” for anyone interested on this kind of stuff. Sorry, no photos of the menu because there were two guys flanking it. Since I didn’t know if those were the men selling, or the men on sale, I felt a little buhaoyisi to take a picture.

It’s kind of similar in the UK.

Being naked in public is legal but being naked in public and causing distress to a member of the public is illegal — so if someone complains, you’re committing an offence. If not, you can let it all hang out.
