Vermouth can be obtained at Drinks or at Breeze Super or Jason’s.
Angostura bitters is a tougher prospect. It used to be readily available at liquor stores in Taiwan, but no more. Perhaps ask at a bar where they got theirs.
BTW, I happen to have an old (about 18 years, but it has a looong shelf life) bottle of it in Taiwan, and I could give it to you after I get back in mid July. Are you in Taipei? (PM me if interested.)
By the way, a proper Old Fashioned is a cube of sugar, a splash of water to dissolve it, a few dashes of Angostura bitters, and your favorite American whiskey. On ice cubes in a rocks glass. Garnish with lemon peel or orange peel.
Don’t muddle any fruit in it! No cherries! Don’t top up with club soda! It is what it is: a simple whiskey cocktail, made the old fashioned way.
