No. To me the whole thing is about integration, learning, being accepted by interaction. Separation does not help the issue.
Maybe, but I always thought that’s the admin’s job, at least I think it should be; stepping in when old timers (referred to as “compulsive posters” elsewhere recently 
) go over the top, sometimes whipping each-other into a right frenzy of newbie-bashing.
