I dislike the cold and have heaters on in the apartment any time I’m inside the entire winter. That said, I also wear shorts throughout the year - I really don’t feel that I lose much body heat through my knees.
If I have a conversation with somebody regarding this, it generally goes like this.
Them: “OMG, you’re wearing shorts.”
Me: “Thank you?”
Them: “You better be careful, you’re going to catch cold.”
Me, wondering if I should mention the entire ‘virus’ theory of colds: “I’m wearing a hat. And gloves. And my jacket is actually zipped.”
Them: “Yes, but you’re wearing shorts.”
Me: “Thank you?”
