Website barred to ISP's outside the U.S

There’s this website which is readable only by ISP’s within the United States, but I want to read here. Technologically speaking, how can I get around this?

Is that what a “rerouter” does? If so, how can I find and use one of those?

Configure your browser to use a proxy server that is located in the US.

If you need help let us know what browser you are using.

or daveproxy.co.uk/ or services like it.

Thank you both. I tried Dave Proxy, and got a message saying that as a non-secure server, it was not allowed. Is this solveable?

What’s the website? (Sorry, gotta ask)

Maybe this will help.

www.annualcreditreport.com

Yeah … ran into that website a couple months back. Had to get my reports mailed to me. What a crock.

Asked my credit card why they weren’t reporting information to the credit bureaus … they don’t supply information on accounts with a foreign address. Basically if you reside overseas you just cease to exist for credit reporting purposes. (This may only be relevant to Americans!)

Yeah, I’ve run into the same problem with that site. I have my own servers in the US though, so I can proxy through them and it works fine. I also have a US mailing address through usglobalmail.com/ for the idiots who can’t handle a foreign address.

This should work: myownaccess.info/

Just copy the URL (www.annualcreditreport.com) into the field and off you go …

Thank you for your help. That last site did the trick, in terms of getting me in the door. Unfortunately, each of the three agencies have other technical barriers (unspecified) which kept me from getting any further.
