Weird bug (Phereoeca uterella aka plaster bagworm)

Recently these kind of animals just pop out of nowhere in all of our rooms (except bathrooms).

It kind of sticks on the wall, so very hard to suck it away with sort of Dyson machine.
To me, it looks like a “fish”, but lol, how this can be ?
Also it doesn’t move at all, makes me wonder if it is dead already.
In short, what is “this” ?

Some kind of moth, I believe. Look around in dark areas and you’ll find where they are coming from. We found they were all coming from a space between a wall and a dresser. We pulled back the dresser, cleaned them all out, and have been free of them since.

Thank you very much !

Don’t worry. This probably won’t happen.

Tonight.

Amazing!

I had always assumed there were silverfish inside. Now I discover they are totally unrelated. The cases are wide so they can turn around.

Reassuring that I was “right” to kill them though: they eat clothes and rugs.
