Here I am sweating profusely in Bangkok, so much so that I’m developing a heat rash. A cool Taipei sounds like a dream!
It does get bloody hot in Thailand !! And Indonesia too.

Its too humid in TW so cold feels much cooler and hot is much hotter.
Yep. I was surprise dthat in India it was 35 degrees, I was wearing long sleeves and walking up and down stairs and hills and stuff and I wasn’t unconfortable.

I hope colder/longer than usual… I like winter in Taiwan, especially when you dont have or can’t afford to run an air conditioning (or if you work outdoor)
Im predicting early start to winter, with a few cold snaps late Oct and in Nov. Relatively mild through to end Jan. And a few cold snaps in Feb and a unusually cold one in early March. And a lot of rain. OH wait, thats what happens every year?? 
You know its not the cool weather thats so bad, whats really bad is the amount of rainfall. It would be ok with more dry days.

The pig’s been squealin’ and gather sticks fer a nest. This foretells a warm period ‘round Thanksgivin’ best.
The rooster’s been crowin’ later in the day. A clear indication of the winter comin’ to play. (Girls can continue to wear micros, minis and to go braless).
My hound dog’s been whinin’ and cats are frisky as kittens. Just before Christmas, you’ll need to bring out the mittens.
Cows sit down in the fields to feed. A jacket in January is what you’ll need.
Birds fly lower to the ground. So, there’ll be no snow around.
Bees and butterflies seem to disappear. February nights will be cool I fear.
Black ants are buildin’ up their mounds. March will be gray from the way it sounds.
Horse runs around swatting flies with her tail. Warm will return in April without fail.
Fish keep jumpin’ out in the creek. May’s heatwave will make you weak.
Some crickets are chirpin’ around the loon. Gonna be even hotter in June.

In other news, I hope someone was taking pictures out there today -not like me, fighting the crowds at the Travel Fair because of WORK- because the sky was amazing, the clouds multicolored at dusk, the air so crisp … pity memory and battery space were “employed” somewhere else…
