My finacee really loved the scones. I thought the food was pretty decent, cheap compared to it’s equivalent in the UK, even in the midlands where I used to live. I’ll definitely go back and try the fish and chips next time

I want to try it, but location is shit unless you have a vehicle. There is a LRT station few meters away. But New Taipei City decided that pedestrians would not want to go to the other side of the street. Bus is the only option if I want to take my family with me. Otherwise, bicycle. But it is too close to my home to eat there alone.

It wasn’t a good location. Too close to the city for drivers and too inconvenient for pedestrians, even know that that side of the road has a sidewalk.

Ate at Kooks mountain location with the wife (vegetarian) & her friend. All satisfied! We were the only customers… Can’t imagine they get a lot of business up there.
I had the pulled-pork BBQ sandwich/burger. A little overwhelming with the slaw, but pretty tasty. Brought back some cakes & pie slices to go, and they didn’t disappoint either. Look forward to returning.

Huh. Came very close to trying that for the first time today, but didn’t quite bother - the rain suddenly got heavier.
I’ve walked by it many times and it doesn’t look like anything special. We’ve never tried it. But my wife just noticed today how positive the reviews are.
