Hello everyone, my name is Steve and I’ll be visiting Taiwan this October 3rd-12th and would like to hit up 2-3 clubs during that time. The last few times I’ve been back (2005 and 2010)
I haven’t been back for a few years and am curious what the current “hot” clubs are. I greatly prefer dance music (of all types).
What are the popular clubs?
What kind of music do they play?
I see on the Luxy website that Fatboy Slim will be spinning on 10/9. Does anyone know how I can get tickets to that?

Since your last visit in 2010, the old regulars like Room 18 and Spark are still around too.
Luxy, Room18, Spark, Myst, Muse, Box, etc. are the big glossy clubs. They’re easy to find. Taiwan Nights or Party Taiwan will have info:

If you’d like something a little more underground try coming out to Korner/The Wall sometime. It’s my nightclub of choice in Taipei precisely because it’s chill, focused on quality music, not a pick-up scene, and has some integrity in advertising.
There are a few online options and ticket offices, but I think going to the 7-11 and using the iBon machine is probably the easiest (staff can usually assist if necessary).
My information is, that the Fatboy Slim event on 10/9 is already sold out… Does anyone sell tickets or knows someone/something where I can buy ??
