What are the categories to get Taiwan citizenship without giving up home country passport ? For example, I remember someone got it for getting a literary prize for Noble, I think. I’m curious. Thank you.

I know someone who got it for significant contribution in the entertainment industry, but I have no idea what are the specifics. He said he got it through the ministry of culture or something. This allowed him to play gigs in China by the way as Taiwan citizenship basically gives you free roam of China without having to get visas. Because Taiwan’s entertainment industry is extremely limited and it seems Taiwanese entertainers makes a significant portion of their income from China too.
I don’t think you have to be a Nobel prize winner but probably if you’re important enough to Taiwan, like say a significant engineer at TSMC who pioneered processes, that might do it.
