Having trouble identifying this character. Can’t find it through character component search on mdbg.net or stroke drawing on LINE Dict. It appears to be comprised of the components 口卡寸 and either 面 or 西. The pronunciation ‘zhuang’ does not find it either. It must be a rare character. It’s the fifth character reading from right to left. The song is called 月下對口 (Under the Moon) from the movie Songs of the Peach Blossom River sung by Yao Lee and Pan Zheng Yi.

You’re a genius, that must be it. But what’s with the way they’ve painted 车 like 卡？I wonder if it was common to paint some radicals differently to fit in to the limitations of the subtitling technology in use at the time.

I’ll go with it. Must be one of the ones where the spoken pronunciation is different to the written piniyn, such as 谁 (shui).
