It was p5 tactica. Basically one level is broken, and I tried everything, including starting from the beginning, and at that point it just soft locks. I gave up on it.
Googling does not help because I must be the only person in the world to have the problem. Also p5 persona locks up for a long while in the city. It uses 100% CPU the whole time. You need very good CPU to play it. It doesn’t care about gpu, in fact turning anything down does nothing.
Maybe the game is intended to run on a i9 14900 or something.
It’s easy to get a Taiwan app store by the way. If you just make a separate google email you can set it to the Taiwanese app store and download Taiwanese apps.
Also royal is the same as p5 but with some basic tweaks and an extended dlc (also nerfed the difficulty sadly which is why p5 was so easy other than one boss fight)
You might want to check if your computer is using the graphics card to run it or not. Sometimes Nvidia will default to integrated graphics. So you’ll have to go into the Nvidia control panel and change the default to the gpu
I’m running it on a desktop, it has no integrated graphics. Otherwise cyberpunk and horizon forbidden west wouldn’t run at all.
Plus p5 games hardly used gpu at all. It’s CPU only most the time. P5 royal locks up because it can’t control more than a few npc without using massive CPU power it seems. So if you’re in a large map like sabuya it would lock up. Only thing that fixed it was a CPU upgrade.
Recently Red Candle Games, previously known for Detention and Devotion, released a new game called Nine Sols 九日
It’s a modern 2D Metroidvania, strong inspirations from Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, I’d even say from The Legend of Tiamding.
Pretty fun and well rounded game so far, kinda hard though on their default difficulty setting (but you can lower it), and a bit long for my taste (20+ hours)
The story quite interesting too, sci-fi, in a style they called Taopunk which they play with quite well in all aspects of the game, from writing, to visual art.
Well I guess Chinese videogame developers have arrived. With Genshin and now this. I wonder how much longer are we going to keep hearing the East Asian people lack innovation narrative. Though I hate China making money, so I’ll probably skip it unless a friend buys it or I “accidentally” download the torrent file.
I played it. It’s a good game although I feel it’s over hyped. It’s a boss rush game with little to less in between.
It’s a Chinese AAA game made for Chinese audiences . That’s why it’s huge right now with 80% of the players from china
Red Candle Games, the studio behind Detention and the infamous Devotion have released a new game, Nine Sols, which seems to draw influence heavily from Hollow Knight and Sekiro and features a cyberpunk-meets-taoism aesthetic. I’ve watched a stream of the game and it has a great story with some unsettling horror elements, fantastic art, and a banger of a soundtrack.
People never change, so the narrative will be around for forever.
Game looks ok. Unfortunately I recently sold my gaming PC and replaced it with a Mini-PC which is more suitable for Minecraft, if even. So I don’t think I’ll get it any time soon.
