“Some”- I know many people hate that word. Equally, many Christians here express their dislike with calling Trump a Christian.

They are criticizing Trump for hypocrisy in claiming to believe in Christianity while not behaving in what they claim is a Christian way.
Like politicians on both sides claiming to do things for the poor and working classes while actually acting for the benefit of their wealthy donors.
You’re repeating my interpretation of @Mr_PBH’s post with some added opinion.
If you act in a way that observers believe to be inconsistent with Marxist beliefs they may judge you to hypocritical. You may simply say “I don’t care” but if you constantly proclaim yourself to be a Marxist, libertarian, liberal, conservative, Christian, Buddhist etc expect to be challenged.
