I guess you saw my comment on your comment as somehow contesting what you said? It wasn’t. You can think of what I said as a meta-comment on the whole concept of Chinese identity if that helps. If you’re uncomfortable with ambiguity, that’s OK too.
Can’t say I’ve ever heard of her, but I’m not keen on this sort of thing anyway. She is quite gorgeous if I’m being frank.

I was curious about her Australian English so I watched one of the clips above.
I personally think the people managing her stuffed her up. They let her out without any media training and you can see it. Jay Chou would have had access to the people she needed, I wonder how serious he is about supporting his wife’s career?

How about another Australian Taiwanese girl, Kimberley Chen (陳芳語). my most successful IG pic ever with 30,000 likes. Unfortunately they were all on her own account. She was a child star in Taiwan singing mandopop but has been trying to get a new career going as a sexy hip hop singer.

She’s doesn’t have an Australian accent. She doesn’t even have a native speaker accent. She can express herself fine but her vocabulary is extremely limited.
