Going up into the hills, getting far away from any roads, buildings, concrete or other human encroachment on nature, finding a deep pool of water in a crystal-clear stream, stripping naked, and plunging in. Sunshine and the company of an attractive woman bring the effect to perfection.
Camping with my son and making fires in our huge wok and feeding it until there’s no more wood. ![]()
Listening to music (classic rock) or
Dancing in my room at night to Shakira!
I need to buy me some wine to make it way better.
I tried to go dancing at the clubs, but my Taiwanese friends… can’t really danc. And I guess Americans/Latinos dance way differently than Taiwanese so… its not a very comfortable experience lol
Jogging, surfing, or video games.
Diazepam.
Folding laundry for five mins was a surprising discovery. Usually dance with loud music works well for me. A long walk is good too.
A 15-20km trail run alone through one of the relatively remote parts of the island where I live. If that doesn’t take my mind off of whatever has been stressing me out, then nothing will.
Cleaning, as in the real nitty gritty scrubbing and wiping for hours, yoga, kickboxing, loud music and weightlifting.
Pain is a stress reliever for me. I feel best when I put my body through a vigorous workout, the pain feels like stress leaving the body.
Sex.
I was going through this thread and thinking, Is nobody going to mention sex? What’s wrong with you people. ![]()
I second all of these: sex, diving, cycling, boxing (thai or kickboxing even more so, because of the use of legs), a good cry, folding laundry (though for me it’s ironing as well)
My favorite is probably riding a bike slowly late at night through the city when there’s no one around. I used to do that in Taipei and I just did that this evening in Zagreb.
Sex, for men, may end up being just more work.

You must have me on ignore
I mentioned watching Maria Ozawa vids

Very few things more stress relieving than seeing sunlight from underwater [/quote]
I can think of at least a score of others, for me personally. As stress is most indeed a truly subjective matter, anything diving-wise, whether in sky or sea, is bound to stress me out.

At first, I thought one of the guys would do it, so I left it out of my original list. You know trying to be all proper lady like and all
:roflmao: but well, someone had to get rid of the elephant in the room.
Ummmm, you know women are perfectly capable of doing all the work. Just sayin’.

Victorian thinking? Hardly. After about 5 years of marriage sex (with their wives) becomes a chore to many men.
Divea, the pestering I get from my wife periodically would indicate some small hole in you theory.

Well then, tell her, if she wants it, she can come and take it, and you’ll be happy to oblige. ANd maybe you can get her on the path of self lovin’, that should put a stop to the pestering.
5 years?? No way no. :no-no:

I think we’re talking about two very different things.
Men who don’t want to have sex with their wives (and probably vice versa) = it’s a chore
Men who want sex but have to do all the work, women are passive = it’s a lot of work for them, not the woman
Back to the latter. A serious suggestion: Maybe you can play hard to get for a while and make her work for it? It works on some.
That and I wasn’t being serious. Sorry, not big on the smilies.
