What is your style of inauthentic US pizza?

New York style pizza, choose your toppings. What’s the big deal?

This is not a “Does pineapple go on pizza” debate thread.

It’s about inauthentic U.S. pizza…can’t get more on topic than that.

Having also lived in Chicago area, I can vouch for this. It’s second only to Detroit style in buttery crusty-ness. It’s good stuff.

Title’s gotta reflect the content!

okay, but if you ever get the chance, give Lou Malnati’s a try. Certainly not at all soggy mush. It is in fact crunchy and crispy yet still thick. It is divine.

Where in Taiwan is this fine establishment located? When I do a google search, all I’m seeing are locations in the US.

Wait you expect Canadians like us living in a nice safe country like Taiwan to go there?

There’s plenty of good pizza here without any of that!

For pizza? Of course I expect it. Sometimes you have to make do with inferior products from other countries, I understand though.

“The average person in Spain or Switzerland, for example, lives five years longer than the average person in the U.S., despite those countries spending much less on healthcare per person. Even on the American continent, Canadians outlive those in the U.S. by more than three years. But the Canadian government spends about $6,438 per person on healthcare, while the U.S. government outlays almost twice that amount.”

Silly me, I thought it was drug and alcohol deaths in the Appalachians.

Turns out it’s pizza.

Why does your poll list Pizza Hut Taiwan pizza not sold here in South? What city is that in you tried those you list?

Yes, and other bad food. A lighter pizza and glass of wine (one not a lot) will keep you in good health!

What’s behind the decline in American life expectancy? - Mayo Clinic Press

In 2014, U.S. life expectancy peaked at 78.8 years. During the next several years, it fell modestly before tumbling downward in 2020 and 2021.

So what? This thread is about pizza.
