I also got a Clikatat Ikatowi lp (“screamo” hardcore band out of San Diego on Gravity Records) that I would never have expected to find in Taiwan in a million years there. He wasn’t really sure what it was when he sold it to me I think. Ha!
Most records are around 1000 NT, but from what I understand that is what vinyl costs these days. Crazy.

You wouldn’t mind a song perhaps, but a fourth a fourth album, jesussss… Bit of an audacious raising of the stakes!
Heh heh. I didn’t post my previous albums coz I was shy about them. And coz they got bad reviews. My aunty June says it’s just noise, and some guy from Leeds said it was naff. But I’ve suffered for my art, and now I want others to, too.
Oh, I keep meaning to give a listen. I think you’ve sold me.

I love Joy Division.
So sad that:
Frontman Curtis struggled with personal problems including a failing marriage, depression, and epilepsy. As the band’s popularity grew, Curtis’s health condition made it increasingly difficult for him to perform; he occasionally experienced seizures on stage. He died by suicide on the eve of what would have been the band’s first North American tour in May 1980, aged 23. Joy Division’s second and final album, Closer , was released two months later; it and the single “Love Will Tear Us Apart” became their highest-charting releases.
Depressing stuff, but good to listen to on a rainy day. And New Order rose from their ashes.
