Taxi drivers have 2 or 3 phones mounted up front, a TV in the dash watching a TV show, maybe some other screens. And many cars have screens in dash Tesla for example has a huge screen. I put my phone in the window and someone said screens are illegal. Personally, I’ll do what I want, but I’m curious.
Just wondering what are the real and current laws and regulations for screens in the front seat like phones, tv, etc.? Do the laws differentiate if obstructing road vision or not like mounted above the dash?
