In terms of what? Final wishes? What kind of care they want? I know they both want cremation but they have not expressed anything in terms of what kind of care they want once they are no longer able to live independently. Knowing my father, he’d probably want to die as soon as possible after being incapacitated. He nearly bit it last year with a DVT (blood clot) in his leg, nearly killed him, but fortunately he bounced back very quickly. Was out of the hospital in just 3 days.
After that, we got all the POA stuff settled between both parents and my sister. My sister is POA for my mother both financial and medical, and my mother is my father’s health POA and I am my father’s financial POA.
