What WAS wrong with Mac Firefox... the beer in the keyboard

I would appreciate your suggestions on this one.

I’m running OS 10.3.9 on a Mini 1.4/ 512.
I’m running Firefox 1.0.6.
I’m pretty up-to-date with updates.

I love tabbed browsing. Since I’m now moderating IP, I’m keeping more windows open… maybe six at a time… and having them automatically refresh every five minutes. Great way to keep an eye on things.

Trouble is, every so often–maybe once, twice a day–something goes haywire: I’m no longer able to switch between tabs and have to close the one I’m in to move on to the next one. If I close Firefox entirely and try to relaunch from the dock, Finder opens up the folder in which I keep all of my browsers-Safari, Camino, Firefox, IE (yuck)-which isn’t such a problem, but it is indicative of there being something wrong.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Many thanks.

the command key is stuck.

You think that’s it???
That’s hilarious! I think you’re right. I just went out and bought a new keyboard after having spilt bew in the old one… it was sticky.

the command key is useful for lots of things. try cmd-clicking the text in the title bar in Safari. Or a document name in the title bar in any app like TextEdit or Word.
