Ya ya, sky dragons always get everything first…leave something for the rest of us…jeeze.
Positively impressed by the Burger Talks - great fresh salad in the burger, the burger is nice fresh beefy taste, and good crispy fries
Seems most vegetarian patties are gone now from fast food joints. Not surprising as many shops like Mos told all their vegan patrons they fry the burger with pork oil. Failure before it even came out The ironic bit is that inside Japan, Mos burgers can all be replaced with western styled bean based vegetarian patties. Nearly every single burger can be swaped out. They even have a green sticker stating so…even more ironic is the massive amounts of vegetarians and vegans in taiwan compared to japan. taiwan 711 had a wonderful veggie burger, was actually uummier than their pork one. Cancelled. Locals have some serious work to do on customer needs…its really just embarrassing.
So in taiwan, Subway still seems the winner in consistency and quality for me. not the most wow worthy, b ut better than the rest. Thats even taking into account their pedophile marketing muck up. But their logistics and marketig ar terrible unfortunately plus its a3 hour drive one way for.me.to.enjoy them. At least mcdonals is knly 1 hour… meanwhile, outstanding local restaraunts are everywhere, similar .price range and directly bennefit our community. Food safety may vary.

Nando’s though Taiwan doesn’t have it. I loved the fries and the peri peri sauce is awesome.
I’ve occasionally seen Nando’s sauce sold in supermarkets here - Jason’s for sure, maybe City Super, but I haven’t looked in a while. I finished my last bottle a few weeks ago and need to find it again.
And yes, it’s awesome.
I almost forgot, the first place I ever ate beef noodle soup was a chain restaurant. Has anyone seen a Murceries soup shop around recently? or how about a Yoshinoka? (Japanese rice bowl fast food)
last time I had yoshinoya, I snuck it into a movie theater only to have a bunch of locals complaining I was making too much noise eating, and about the smell. What happened to this place?
When my niece came to visit last year, she brought me ten bottles of Nando’s sauce. All long gone.

There are still here in Kaohsuing currently, maybe in your city they are not there anymore. I like SUKIYA すき家熱量表 more, but seems none here (mostly in Taipei area)
Oo, thanks for the Nando’s shopping link. One of these days I really should figure out how to use ruten. Or is it one of those places that doesn’t accept APRC numbers and I’d have to get my wife to do everything?
last time I had yoshinoya … What happened to this place?
Plenty of branches around: https://www.yoshinoya.com.tw/stores/
Or just type “Yoshinoya” in Google maps.
Tim Horton’s donuts are my favourite!

Same here. I discovered Sukiya the last time I was in Okinawa; I got excited when one opened not far from my place in Taoyuan.
I forgot about Starbucks. I love Starbucks.
I love Starbucks.
I hear they have excellent cinnamon rolls.
Yoshinoya used to be the place to go for Japanese beef bowls until Sukiya came along and blew it out of the water. Sukiya only opened a handful of restaurants initially. I remember rushing to the one in Guting right after work and standing in line for more than 30 minutes. Glad those days are gone.
