A funny story I tell people back home.
Not in Taiwan more than a year, and it’s a Saturday morning and I’m still asleep. Sometimes I can hear sounds outside my sleep that then enter the dream, without waking me up.
Well, I heard those suona (and thanks to this thread, I now know their name) being played and in my dream I truly thought I was listening to some bagpipes, and thought it was cool, because I never had bagpipes in my dreams. I soon woke up as the sound got louder and louder (and then really loud) as the parade got closer and closer to my 4th floor flat. That’s how I learned about funeral processions and those whining instruments.
