Hello everyone, as end my job in Taiwan and I plan to travel on next October but I didn’t book flights yet. I go to tax office to check the documents I need and they mentioned I need to apply within 10 to 7 days before leaving and show flights tickets and that I can refund it on next August on my Taiwan bank account or through an agent on next April and no way to be earlier I wonder about that long time. Does anyone have another information?
Your refund for 2023 will be in 2024. It might be possible to get it early if you have a guarantor.
I have acted as a proxy for people who left to get taxes back. They do not get it any earlier.
