Where can I buy a bike mount or bike stand to store my bicycle indoors?

Hi! I recently bought a bike and picked up cycling as a hobby to cope with being stuck inside all day. As you all know that apartments here are not that big, I have been storing my bike outside of my building, but it always gets dirty or damaged. I want to find a way to store my bike indoors that doesn’t take much space.

Do you guys know where to buy a bike stand or bike mount that can save space? I have been looking but I cannot find something that works for me. Where do you buy your bike accessories?

Normal bike stands for road bikes lacking a kickstand can be found at any bike shop. Something like this:

But I don’t know where to buy special ones to save space. And I’m not interested in some kind of major operation requiring bolts in the cement walls like are required for some racks. Maybe I would consider this but it’s not my first choice. We have three bikes in our apartment now so something needs to be done.

I hope someone can recommend something good.

I use one of these by Topeak.

It can hold two bikes on one side and four if you place it further away from the wall and get additional mounts. The stretched out force on ceiling and floor prevents it from toppling so bolts aren’t needed. You just hang your bike on the mount after a ride. Bought it from my local bike shop.

You mean it’s like shower curtain rods sold here? You expand the length until they are held firmly between two facing walls (or the ceiling and floor for this rack)?

Exactly. If your ceiling is a wooden one built out from the original concrete ceiling, you got to make sure you find a spot that’s reinforced so the pole won’t pierce through the wood ceiling. There’s a nice video in the link.

Thanks guys for your answers. I kept looking for a store for this products and I found the Instagram of a big bicycle accessories store: Login • Instagram
