I went to a place very close to Dapinglin MRT… they removed them with no fuss I think it was 500NT each with insurance but you can get cheaper. I’ll post again when I get the exact address off the Mrs.
Skin specialist at any hospital. It’ll cost whatever a standard doctor’s visit costs.
I had something like this done at Wanfang Hospital in the Muzha District of Taipei. Register on the first floor, then go to the second floor and turn right when you get off the elevator. Go to the end of the hall and turn right. There is a waiting area in the hallway, and they should have given you a number downstairs. You may need to schedule a return visit to have the procedure done, depending on the time of your visit. The doctor most likely speaks English, but don’t expect anyone else to.
Edit: This was the Dermatology Dept. If you’re doing this for cosmedic reasons, you probably want to make some inquiries. If this is as preventative medicine, for example if you have a high risk for skin cancer, then this is the spot.
what about a facial one?

I know this is an old thread so I guess I’m taking a shot in the dark… but I was wondering if you had yours excised (cut out) or cauterized (burnt off) at Wanfang Hospital?
I had two cut out at Mackay Hospital about a year ago and need a few more done, but they did a terrible job and one got infected. I’ve read that having them cauterized has less chance of infection and heals faster.
Any thoughts?
They cut one off at Kangning Hospital, and did a terrible job, leaving a large scar where there should have been none or a tiny one. Belly button, so no big deal, but I don’t recommend going there for this, especially if it’s on your face. Maybe check out a plastic surgeon instead.
Isn’t it supposed to be good luck to let hair grow out of moles without ever trimming it? I guess if it isn’t a hairy mole, you wouldn’t be tempting fate if you were to remove it.
Actually i had both them lasered off for the small ones and cut off for three larger ones on my face…in yonghe off fuhe rd and i forget the other rd…anyways i had like 15 zapped a three cut and it cost like 3000nt…no scars…but a couple grew back…small but still grew back.
Did you have them removed for aesthetic reasons or because you were worried about cancer? Did they check the ones they cut out to see if they were malignant?

I got a skin clinic who offered to do mine when I went in to laser my face, I havent had it done, but that place is pretty well known I’m told. Its on Bade rd if you havent come right.
