halva is a Turkish sweet made from sesame or tahini. does anyone know if it is possible to find it in Taipei?
I love halva. If I knew anywhere to buy it in Taipei I would most certainly buy some. The good news is it’s easy enough to make if you have a food processor. Maybe a spinning coffee grinder would even do the job in small batches. Honey, sesame seeds, vanilla, maybe a few other flavours and you’re set. Quite a few recipes are to be found online.
