Where to find a batting cage? A baseball team?

I was wondering if anybody knows where I could find a batting cage in Taiwan. I’m living in the north-western part of Taiwan so anything near Taoyuan or Taipei would be excellent.

Also, I’d be interested in join a baseball team. I’ve played every style of baseball game…from slow pitch, fast pitch, hardball and men’s slo-pitch.

I played 2 years of hardball when I was teaching in Korea and last summer I won a men’s slo-pitch tournament with my boyz so if you’re as crazy as me about baseball, please contact me.

There are several amateur softball leagues in Taipei - they play up in Tienmou and Yangmingshan and in the diamonds under the bridges to Banquiao

There used to be many batting cages in Taipei - life before the Internet and network gaming! The biggest one may still be around - across from the “front” of Shihlin Nightmarket, around the corner from the Taipei Aquarium. I haven’t been there in years. Let us know if it is still here

There is an excellent NEW batting cage in the basement of Taimall in Nankan. Taoyuan.

There’s one in Neihu, close to the Miramar mall. Another one in Banciao near Dahan bridge, and another one in Xinzhuang near the Fujen University.

Dessuro, send me a PM and I can hook you up with teams that need players in the Taipei International Softbal League…Taiwan’s oldest Expat league playing two seasons a year at the American School in Tianmu. Anybody els that is interested is free to send me a message also.
