Where to get my cereal fix? (Kix + Multi-grain cheerios)

So I got spoiled on my last trip back to the states, and I’m dying for my two favorite cereals here in Taipei - has anyone here seen either of “Kix” or “Multi-Grain Cheerios”? Thanks!

I’ve seen Multi-Grain Cheerios at Jason’s. On occasion. Very expensive.

Honey Nut Cheerios and regular Cheerios can be found at CostCo, in huge boxes for a much better price.

Never seen Kix here.

Thanks Chris. I saw Cheerios with dried fruit in the Sogo City Super, which is a good alternative but I’ll check out Jason’s. No avoiding the extremely high cereal prices here unfortunately…

Curious: what cereals does Costco regularly have, at what price, and at what size? Given that I spend a rather ridiculous amount on shredded wheat, raisin bran, and muesli, if Costco stocks those it might be worth my while to go there to stock up.

Cereal prices are weird. Jason’s stocks those massive boxes of Kellog’s fruit & fibre, and usually they’re 400NTD+, but on occasion I’ve seen them on special at around 150–at which point I buy all they’ve got.

OP: I’ve never noticed either of those cereals in Taipei, but they’re not ones I normally look for, either.

Costco has Raisin Bran.

Sometimes I get cereal at RT-Mart (they sometime shave a large selection; other times it’s dismal), and City Super. I never buy any cereal box that costs more than NT$150 (unless it’s a super-jumbo-sized box).

Mix your own.
Buy a combination of whole oats, nuts, dried fruit, raisins, oat bran, wheat bran, etc. and shake 'em up in a big conatiner. Far healthier and more tasty than anything pre-packaged. Been doing it for years. Started here because good cereal was unavailable. Now I even do it when I when I go back home.
Sometimes I even make cereal bars with honey for those long bike trips. G-g-g-ggreat!

My wife used to make our own granola and I don’t have the exact recipe but there are many online. I haven’t tried it here yet but I also have trouble finding inexpensive cereal that I like.
Here is one I found online but it is just a sample. Certainly the rolled oats, raisons, honey, brown sugar and some seeds found at the local dry foods or night market. I know the ex would bake it, stirring occasionally until it was dried out and she kept it in a large covered plastic container. Making it was not a big deal and I have seen all the ingredients at the local RT Mart or A-Mart combined with maybe a stop at the local dry foods store for seeds if they didn’t have them. She usually used unsalted peanuts instead of almonds, etc.
Any toaster oven should work fine.

Jason’s puts things on sale when they’re about to expire. Sometimes you get really good deals that way – you just have to use them quickly.
