Where to get travel vaccinations in Taipei?

Hi guys,

I will be taking a big backpacking trip in about three weeks. It will be through a lot of SE Asia, parts of the Himalayas and crossing across China back to Taipei. A big loop, more or less. I’m planning on being gone for 6 months- a year. Does anyone know a good place to go in Taipei for basic travel vaccinations? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t know of any specialized clinics, by which I mean I have looked and not found, and you likely still can’t get typhoid shots (as in Taiwan doesn’t carry them). You are better off getting this done in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, or maybe even Bangkok.

Sorry I can’t help with the principal question but one thing to consider is that if you get any vaccinations it’s a good idea to have them recorded in the International Certificate of Vaccination (aka the “Yellow Card”). This is a WHO-issued document and Taiwan is not a member so I’m not sure if you can get it here but it never hurts to ask.
