The only guy involved in sports I’d want to see run for office is Charles Barkley. Dude is actually pretty insightful and independently minded - he has no problem taking both the MAGA right and Woke left to the woodshed. He did consider running for office once, but I don’t think he’s interested anymore.
We shall see.
