3 out of the 5 ive known over the last 15 years.
I don’t know about gay male South Africans, but if I was gay, I’d definitely want to move to Taiwan. In my experience, the whole “Taiwanese girls love foreign guys” thing is a gigantic lie, but I’ve befriended and been hit on by so many young gay guys in Taiwan, many of whom are very nice and objectively attractive, that it almost makes me wish I was gay.

I haven’t met any to be honest with you, but it’s not like I can tell someone’s gay by looking at them.
And church is a shit place to meet gay men, but I haven’t got any better place so far.
From my experience local women generally don’t care for white men. Local gay men though do. Admitting “I love BWC” on Grindr is very common.
The alpha male type and the daddy type are also more popular amongst gay men than amongst women.

I don’t know about South Africans in particular but there’s a stereotype that white gay guys like Asian guys and in Taiwan the opposite is also true.
So it’s a good place to be gay I guess.
It’s logical. These gay white guys would not come to Taiwan if they are absolutely not interested in Asian gay men.

I was trying to find saunas in Taipei because it’s good for post workout and gyms here don’t have saunas. Many of the saunas I found on google maps in Taipei seem advertised for gays, with photos of male models and reviews saying it’s a gay spot, some reviews talking about orgies. Must be a paradise for gays. I haven’t seen anything like it in other cities even in Asia.

You would have to pay twice, but there are saunas and steam rooms in the public sports centers’ swimming pools. So you could go to the gym in the sports center and then down to the pool for sauna. They also have those spray jet spas in the swimming pools which are nice for a semi massage (but also filled with oldies yelling at each other).

Yes it is! The topic was why many SA gay males in Taiwan? Could it be as simple as what Taiwan is well known for and thus job/money reasons which is much better (in most cases) than SA
Maybe she thinks gay Saffers are forming the basis for SA’s semiconductor industry.
