Back to the orriginal message, though. Why?
I am friends with MOST of my exes. Not all. But the one who I least wish to talk to won’t leave me be. I have blocked him from 12 msn accounts. He calls me from private numbers or payphones. He is nuts.
I also know my current talks to his exes sometimes, even the ones he says he can’t stand.
Why do men do this?
Hey, SuchAFob!
Long time no see! How you doin’?

Men don’t. Your prick of an ex bf does.

Airhorns work. Your neighbors will hate you, though.

See? I dont’ know. All my exes call me. But most of them are friends so it is perfectly allowed. I always hear other girls talk about this from the guys they date. And I know for possitive my current calls his exes, even the ones he isn’t friends with (like my best friend who is his ex who hates him) . So I am assuming (only assuming) that it is a fairly regular thing.

I find it odd that your ex-es call you. Do they NEED to, like for work or some kind of projects? I was always under the impression that once broken up, the intimacy ended on all levels, and any further intimacy was simply an effort to get back into someone’s pants.

Hmmmm… My relationships are usually based on friendship. I see no point to end a friendship simply because the romance didn’t work out. Some of my best friends, actually, are my exes.
But that might be the thing. Most of my relationships just dont’ work out. Nothing angry or stupid about it. So there isn’t much ill between us. With the one who is unwelcome, he was a lying bastard. I wouldn’t be friends with this kind of person. if I had a friend and found they were this kind of person we would no longer be friends.

When your drunk you become more emotional.

I don’t know… I think she may prefer it this way.
Will she be comfortable if you and your ex-girlfriend
are still friends?

i think you have hit the nail on the head on this one. i dont think any present gfs are happy if you still have contact with the EX. ITs a great source of friction and best eliminated.
but there are exceptions i would imagine

I was cool with my longest term ex with his ex until the bitch gave him a ring. He gave it directly to me (as the smart man he was) and she was hissed at every time she called for months.
I have scolded my current for not returning his exe’s phone calls. I think it is highly immature to not stay friends.
Fob’s last ex sounds psycho for tracking her down on different msn accounts and using payphones, etc. as he’s a guy, it sounds even more pathetic.
Fob’s current’s ex is Fob’s best friend who hates Fob’s current. That sounds like it could be awkward, but that’s just me.
