My father want to buy a house in Jin Men, but the local government says since we are not Taiwan’s citizen we can’t buy house or land there.
Is this true? Coz i just read some post in here and it seems foreigner can buy house in Taiwan, or are there any special regulation for Jin Men?
Jinmen (and Matsu) islands are part of Fujian and therefore have a special status if you like, which is probably the reason you can’t buy property there.
