Maybe more than Chinese. I can’t comment. But absolutely less so than taiwanese. As far as east Asia goes, no country is more open and free than Taiwan. None. If you take the whole package of culture + law. Korea is a nightmare. But better than say chuna, Cambodia or Singapore. If one wants to make comparisons.
When I was at the Swedish retreat my roommate was Welsh. I overheard him tell someone they have some particular tourist attraction that makes a lot of money from Chinese/Japanese/Korean tourists.
But that makes them think they’re rich??? I don’t know, you tell me.
Many people here tell me Europeans think Asia is poor and backwards.
You like Thailand , Finland likes Japan. More flights to Japan and Korea, none so far to Taiwan one flight to China (Hong Kong). Thailand is not so poor nor rich, unlike Korea and Japan.
Interesting enough, I just got done with my Vietnam trip talking to different trainers and salons.
A conversation came up and there were 2 groups of people a particular salon doesn’t like serving that I wouldn’t think be put in the same category.
Indians and Germans . Apparently Indians and Germans both act cheap and try to haggle prices and complain it’s too expensive for Vietnam. But Germans are also hated because they never leave 5 star reviews. A good experience for them is 4 stars apparently which might make sense in their country but means something went wrong for Vietnamese people.
Half the world at the moment…nothing unusual about that survey. All the old people who remembered the bad shit they did have died off so now we are left with cutey cultural Japan. Even in Taiwan it’s the same thing.
