Besides Page One, what bookstores in Taipei have a wide selection of English books, specifically fantasy books?

Is this the same as porn mags? They’re not so easy to find these days. The Internet has largely knocked the skin mag industry on its arse.
I’m not sure about fantasy books, but I’d say Kinokuniya in the Breeze Centre is often overlooked in “where can I find English books” conversations.
I’d try Eslite, Caves, and Lailai(?) (on Roosevelt, near the Tai-Power building).
Page One is the only place I remember ever seeing an actual fantasy/ sci-fi section (in English).
If you’re here long term and that’s your genre, I recommend getting a Kindle - they’re definitely worthwhile if you plough through books, and that’s usually what fantasy readers do. Have a look in the Kindle section of amazon.com and see how their prices and selection suit you.
Or look through the second-hand selection at Bongo’s in Gongguan. They may have the second biggest selection of light English reading in town (second to Page One).
This surprises me: the Kinokuniya in the Tianmu Sogo has virtually nothing in English.
In general, purchasing options for English books probably peaked 6-7 years ago (when Page One first opened and was huge), and it’s probably not going to get any better. The various Eslites around (Tianmu, Shilin, Ximending) used to have decent English selections but those have largely disappeared. The Gongguan and Xinyi Eslites are still OK.
