Wife sues bank for blabbing
What if you found out your spouse had $800,000 dollars in the bank. Would you:
A) Say “Good on you” honey?
B) Say “Um Can I have $150,00”?
C) Say “Who is he and when are you leaving me?”
Should a bank pay this wife back for being “outted” and having to pay her husband $$$ to keep
peace in the house? What would you do? What do you think should be done?

I don’t see what her case is, but I think we need more details. I can’t tell if they are still married or are divorced or what. If they are married, wouldn’t the money be considered half his, just like all other shared assets from marriage? Even if the account is in her name only, she’ll have to prove that it wasn’t gained during the course of their marriage for him to have no claim to it. I also was under the impression that you weren’t allowed to hide money from your spouse as to not have to split it during a divorce, but I guess that only applies to men now?

Were you able to see the video? They are still married, and she gave a $150,000 to keep marital harmony. As for half? If they are in CA that applies but I don’t know where they were. And AFAIK, you can hide all the funds you want.
