It is my understanding that good foreign wine is expensive in Taiwan. What can I expect to pay in Taipei for a decent bottle of, oh say, Australian wine that costs $10 in the US?
NT$400-500, but it won’t neccessarily be decent – think Jacob’s Creek generic chardonnay or Brown Bros. shiraz.
A decent Wolf Blass or something will be closer to NT$800.
