where can one purchase chopped wood… like the kind you’d use in a BBQ pit? I know there is an abundance of coal… but wood is more fun.
Don’t think you will find this in Taiwan just like a HUMIDIFIER. If you are serious and need a lot, import a cargo container from abroad.
I don’t recall ever seeing the stuff here, but you could try lumber shops to ask what they do with scrap; or buy an axe and make your own from scrap wood.
Watch out for what it might have been treated with though if you plan on using it to cook food.

Better/safer to use charcoal and then get something else to flavor - like sugar cane skins. Sometimes the wood here (especially scrap weed has been chemically treated or varnished.
