Hi guys, I’m currently working as an english teacher at a buxiban, and would like to take on another job in the non-profit sector. I’m very new to the legality behind work permits and ARCs, but I just wanted to clarify…each employer must issue me their own work permit in order to work for them correct? also, is there a maximum number of hours a foreigner can work, or is there a legal issue behind how many hours i can work at each place? thanks for any insight!
Last I heard, the maximum number of hours a teacher could work is 32/week. You can have more than one employer on your ARC, but when they apply for the permit, you might want to monitor the number of hours they put on the paperwork.
