There are many memorizations books out there that teach you to make little stories to easily recall all the presidents, all the states in order, lists of words, whatever you like…I have used them to impress and entertain my students and learn lots of Chinese vocab.
It’s easy, but it takes lots of practice to keep it all fresh.
How long did they memorise them for? I had a friend who could look at a page from a book for about a minute and then recite it back to you. Apparently he could “see” it on the wall infront of him. Not sure how long that lasted but he used it to get into Cambridge.
