I recently accepted employment with a Taiwan consulting firm. The employer is processing my work permit application now. I was wondering whether there is any restrictions to Hong Kong ‘citizens’ on work permits with the political sensitivity issues going on between Taiwan and China? I am currently waiting for my work permit to be approved before I move to Taiwan. Any idea how long it takes? Thanks in advance for any advise.
