I’m trying to pre-order the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition, but I’m currently in Taiwan.
The controller is already available for pre-order on the US Microsoft Store, and I have a friend in the US who can receive the package for me. The problem is that Microsoft only seems to accept a US-issued payment method for the US Store. My Taiwanese credit card and Taiwan PayPal both ask me to switch the Store region back to Taiwan.
My friend can receive the package, but he’s a student and doesn’t have his own US credit/debit card, so I can’t really ask him to place the order for me either.
Do you think the X25 controller will eventually be officially released or opened for pre-order in Taiwan too? Or would you try to find another way to complete the US pre-order now in case it sells out?
Has anyone in Taiwan seen any information about a local release or pre-order yet?
