Yilan Peanut Brittle Recipe?

Hi there,

Does anyone have a recipe that approximates the yilan peanut brittle? (I think It’s mostly peanuts and maltose sugar, but surely there’s some other “trick” that makes it a ‘regional specialty,’ no?).

I’m trying to approximate the popiah/peanut brittle shaving/ice cream/cilantro wrap.
