Onew of the defining moments for forumosa (Segue, Oriented) was when the Rants and Raves forum was closed down, as it was getting to much of a handful for gus/christine, and they had been getting threats from ppl about it.
It was a complete free for all, unmoderated, btw. After some debate in the feedback section, they brought it back in moderated form - hey presto, suddenly we had a moderated forum, where we could sling mud as much as we wanted, with someone to make sure that things did not get out of hand. Forumosa’s first “real” discussion forum was born - a place where ppl could vent their frustrations.
Mr. He’s first post was a one liner, defending the old ranth and raves and calling for it to be brought back - with some kind of policing, that is.
