Zoom Consumer Confidence

That’s the problem right there.

Not at all. With passwords and waiting rooms, etc…it’s a huge +.

It’s only the servers in CCP-held China that gives Taiwan the consumer yips. They have to clearly fix that and I don’t know, say, cut China off from the product?

A bold move like that might bring Taiwan back to the fold.

But as long as bottom lines are more important than doing the right thing, they’ll just cave to CCP-held China and make Taiwan a “Province of China” in their drop down.

They should be easily able to use servers in Taiwan or non China locations.

Their excuse was they needed space and quick when they scaled from 10m users to 200m in a couple of days.

Like the article in the OP points out, very short-sighted and lazy management. Maybe they deserve to be relegated to the ash-heap of also-rans.

I hope not though.

Teams is nice, I also like Google Meet. Wonder if enough business for all the companies doing this, since

Zoom, had some layoffs

Reviving this thread to say: WTF?!

Holy shit, BRB, got some emails to send! :exploding_head:

I’m sure they’ll have some mealy-mouthed excuse about filters to remove proprietary information.
