If I were trapped in a low paying job on a Ghost Island with no hope of ever achieving financial security I’d be temperamental too.

Yes. I think my wife can be pretty temperamental at times. And yet she’s still waaaaay less temperamental than some of her friends who are also married to western guys. There’s one couple we barely see now because they can’t even put their fights on pause for a few hours when we visit. Well… it’s not so much a fight as it is a one-sided beat down. The poor guy is verbally pummeled for the smallest infraction.
So yes, there’s some truth to this stereotype.
On the other hand, I think they play less mind games and flake out less than western women. Taiwanese women are more honest with their feelings… their feelings just happen to have a fiery kick to them sometimes.
